February 25, 1948 to April 26, 2023

Evelyn Diana Bodily passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, in her home. She was born on Feb. 25, 1948, to Bernice and Earl Schinkel in Lynwood, California. She married Sterling Verdin Bodily on Nov. 14, 1986.

Evelyn enjoyed fishing, camping and planting flowers. She loved cooking Mexican food. She also loved going on road trips. Wendover, Nevada, and Deadwood, South Dakota, were some of her favorite places.

She is survived by her husband, Sterling: children, Billy (Rebecca) Taylor, of West Jordan, Utah; Wendy (Jeff) Snowden, of Marble Hill, Missouri; Jeff (Dani) Bodily, of Kearns, Utah; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Bernice Schinkel.

Graveside services will be on Friday, April 28, 2023, at the Dry Fork Cemetery at 2 p.m. A visitation will take place from 1 to 1:30 p.m. at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary prior to services at the Cemetery.
