February 4, 1974 to February 24, 2023

Jayson Lyle Smuin, age 49, of Vernal, Utah, passed away peacefully in his sleep on the 24th of Feb. in Mt Shasta, California. He is the son of Gilbert G. Smuin (deceased), Linda Anderson and David Kidd of Vernal. Jayson was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He is survived by the love of his life Aubrey Zufelt, and their three children, Destiny (Tyler) Parker, Jaydon (Calida) Smuin, Rainen Smuin and three grandchildren, all of Mesquite, Nevada. He has many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Jayson will be on Monday, March 20, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home. A viewing for family and friends will be on Monday from 12:45 to 1:45p.m. at the mortuary. Online condolences may be shared at www.AshleyValleyFuneralHome.com.
