Buck passed away peacefully at home in Golden Valley, Arizona on Jan. 29, 2023, surrounded by his son, Shane and wife, Joan. He is preceded in death by Renita Slaugh (daughter) and Wade Lazzell (infant son). He is survived by his wife, Joan Lazzell; son, Shane Lazzell of Vernal, Utah; daughter, Marsha Stevens of Logandale, Nevada; six grandchildren and nine great- grandchildren. Buck was raised mostly by his grandfather, Charles Lazzell in Washburn, Wyoming. During his life, he was a wrangler, ranch owner, heavy equipment operator, worked for the BLM, cattle ranch foreman and truck driver. Buck was also an accomplished musician, however, his greatest love was flying. He earned his commercial pilot’s license and flew the pipeline between Utah and Wyoming. Buck married Joan Lazzell in 2008 and was baptized at 78. Buck will be cremated and returned to Manila, Utah, for his final resting place.
