Christy Young is WOY for St. James the Greater in Vernal. Christy has been a member of the parish for 48 years. She has been married to her husband Lovel for 40 years, together they share 3 children, 8 grandchildren and one Angel Baby.Currently she is the Director of Religious Education, a member of the Parish Council, is active on the Events committee, helps with funeral luncheons, and is a member of the CCW. In the past she has been on the finance committee and the secretary of the finance committee for 6 years, she decorated the church with beautiful flowers for over 5 years.Christy helped last year with the special needs rodeo and this past February helped fill backpacks with food and personal items that were shipped to those who serve in the military. With great passion she also helps with the non profit Blowishes for Emily that the family created for her niece that passed away from cancer at the age of 16.
