The Uintah High School girls wrestling team collected six pins on its way to a 54-30 victory over Union in the annual Basin battle in Vernal.

The Vernal Elks Lodge 2375 held their annual Local Hoop Shoot competition November 18th which was a huge success.

Presley Toth has made Vernal his second home.The avid hockey player from Canada is playing his second season this winter for the Oilers.“It was interesting at the start coming to Vernal,” Toth said.
