Uintah High School flexed its muscles in a big way during the state weightlifting championship at Pleasant Grove.

An experienced group of golfers helped the Uintah girls golf team capture the Region 8 title.The Lady Utes won all six of the region tournaments to run away from the rest of the field.“I’m super proud of the girls,” Uintah coach Amanda Wilson said.

Chanley Green is the most decorated girls wrestler to come out of Uintah High School.The senior is a three-time individual champion and was noticed by several women’s coaches at the next level.Green signed a national letter of intent to wrestle at Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, Colorado.“I’m very excited to continue my wrestling career,” Green said.
