Uintah school district changes transportation policy

Uintah School District officials have announced upcoming changes to kindergarten transportation policies, affecting the parents and guardians of half-day kindergarten students starting during the upcoming school year.“Beginning with the 2024-2025 school year, parents/guardians who choose to enroll their child in half-day kindergarten will be responsible for providing transportation after their child is dismissed from class at noon,” shared Uintah School District officials vía a social media statement.“Half-day kindergarten students can still ride the bus to school in the morning but must be picked up by a parent/guardian, or another individual designated by their parent/guardian, after the students are dismissed from class at noon,” continued officials.
