Uintah County’s spring burning is underway.
After months of deliberation and planning, Uintah High School is on track to establish a dedicated teen center within its premises, providing vital support and resources for students in need.“The proposal for building a teen center at Uintah High School was a collaborative effort that involved the school board, district-level personnel, and high school administration,” said Uintah High School’s director of Human Resources Mindy Merrell.“We have acknowledged that schools play a critical role not just in academics but also in meeting the basic needs of many of our students,” said Merrell.
TriCounty Health has released its annual report for the year, highlighting changes in funding distribution and addressing key community concerns, as revealed in the yearly report presented during the March 19, 2024 Commission Meeting.According to the report, TriCounty Health, mandated by State Law, the Interlocal Agreement, and the By-Laws, reported a total revenue of $5,349,170.
