Hope Week at Uintah High School

Pro-Palestinian protests have erupted at both the University of Utah and Utah State University, drawing attention to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East and sparking heated debates about action taken at Utah’s campuses.Widespread student protests have arisen more and more frequently throughout the country, after the continued and escalated tensions between Israel and Palestine.Now, Utah is one of the many states to hear the outspoken voices of its college students.The conflict between Palestine and Israel is a complex and longstanding issue primarily rooted in competing claims to the land, with both Palestinians and Israelis claiming historical and religious ties to the region.
