2 UHS seniors earn national recognition

VERNAL, Utah – Uintah High School Principal Amanda Brown is pleased to announce that two UHS seniors have earned recognition as Commended Students in the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program.James Kinsey and Lois Lyman will each be presented with a letter of commendation from the high school and the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NSMC), which conducts the scholarship program.About 34,000 Commended Students throughout the nation are being recognized this year for their exceptional academic promise.
