Vernal’s all wheel skate park officially broke ground on April 15. This comes after seven years of discussions, changes, and constantly advocating for construction.
Vernal City held their annual downtown spring cleanup was held on Friday, May 2 from 3 to 5 PM. The area between 100 East and 200 West in Vernal was cleaned up in an annual effort to make our downtown area shine.

The third annual community education fair was held on Wednesday, April 30. The fair is held yearly at the Uintah Conference Center showcasing resources for students and parents.
An update has been provided on the officer involved incident that occurred in Duchesne County on April 15. Charges have since been filed.
