The Top Ten

I saw a Facebook posting listing the “Top 10 Stargazing Hotspots in the U.S.” It included familiar names, such as Capitol Reef National Park, Goosenecks State Park, Goblin Valley State Park, and the grand-daddy of Utah’s night-sky parks, Natural Bridges National Monument (now in the heart of Bears Ears National Monument).

Dear Editor,When I think about safety at Uintah High school, I think about the threats to student safety we’ve recently received within our school district.I’ve seen my peers suspended for bringing small “weapons” with them to school because that’s what helps them feel protected every day, meanwhile students who make actual threats to safety face little repercussions.
