Wilma Cooper Jewkes

Wilma Cooper Jewkes passed away on May 6, 2023, at the home of her son, Clair, in Vernal, Utah, after suffering a stroke.

Wilma was born on Dec. 1, 1935, in Genola, Utah, to Albert Vivean Cooper and Lola Vernell Draper Cooper. She was the fifth child of 11 children. She married Thomas Samuel Jewkes on Sept. 9, 1955, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Wilma is survived by her sons, Kerry (Cindy), Kyle, Clair (Ruby); daughter-in-law, Suzee Jewkes Farmer; 22 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren and one on the way; sister, Sheree Kenison; and brothers, Randy and Jeffrey Cooper.

Preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; five brothers; husband, Thomas; son, Jody; and grandson, Ryan Coyle.

Graveside services will be on Monday, May 22, at 11 a.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah. A viewing will be on Sunday, May 21, from 6 to 8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road Taylorsville, Utah.
