January 26, 1984 to February 18, 2023

VickiLyn Murray Searle returned home to the loving arms of her Savior on Feb. 18, 2023. On Jan. 26, 1984, the earth became a brighter place. George Orland Murray and Vera Hall Murray welcomed a beautiful 7 lb. 11 oz. baby girl into their lives. From that time on, the little bundle of joy that was her has been spreading sunshine and smiles everywhere she goes.
Her entire life she loved learning, a passion that she pursued through every season of it, continuously expanding her knowledge and skill set. She graduated from Uintah High School early, with her associate degree, and never stopped. It was a desire that she helped instill in the lives of her children as they’ve grown and accomplished education at a record pace.
In 2001, she met the love of her life, Sean Paul Searle. Together they were sealed for time and all eternity in the Vernal Utah Temple on Nov. 23 of that same year. The two of them built a beautiful life together and are now the proud parents of six amazing children and a wonderful son-in-law, Lydia Loretta; Annilee Livia; Jaron Paul; Lynzie Chantel; Dallon Sean; and Alia Lyn and her husband, Ryan Kiever; are very blessed to call her Mom. Vicki’s family has always been her whole world, and we know she will be forever watching over them till they are together again.
Though her time with us was much shorter than we would have hoped, while here she lived big, doing more with life than many do in an entire lifetime. She has always been an amazing example of Christ-like love and service. As a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served in many callings, usually multiple ones at once. Making friends and spreading the Gospel in her own unique and special way was something she excelled at and loved doing. She is a treasured daughter, an amazing sister, a beloved wife, a devoted mother, a favorite of all her nieces and nephews, and a friend to everyone she meets. Vicki will be missed deeply, but her influence will continue to shine forth in all of the lives she has and will yet touch, and that light’s ripple effects will follow her into the eternities.
Funeral services for Vicki will be on Friday, Feb. 24, 2023, at 11 a.m. at the Glines 3rd Chapel, 475 W. 100 S.
